Compact wired module for M-Bus protocol communication. The activation of the module takes place automatically or at the programming stage via Master M-Bus and dedicated software. M-Bus EVO is also compatible with suitable third-party meters.
M-Bus communication module for Maddalena SJ EVO and Modularis water meters (other manufacturers) A state-of-the-art built-in optical sensor detects the revolution of the sweep hand indicating the litres. It also detects the direction of the water flow. During operation, the module is supplied with power by the M-Bus network. When it is disconnected from the network, it is powered by a built-in battery. After fitting and sealing the module on the meter with the kit provided, the activation is performed automatically when the cables are connected to the M-Bus network or during configuration via a micromaster or any M-Bus master. Maddalena M-Bus Configurator software (www.maddalena.it) or Relay MBconf software (www.relay.de) can be used to change the factory settings or align the module’s reading with the meter’s registration. The module transmits via M-Bus the current reading and other information such as the periodic reading, 13 historical reading, backflow volume, backflow and leak alarm.
