Wireless M-Bus stick – The simple solution for reading meters. With the wireless M-Bus stick from Engelmann you can read your meters easily and uncomplicated. The stick receives telegrams in the different radio modes S1, T1 and C1, which allows a wide range of applications.

The installation is very simple: You just plug the stick into a USB port of your device and you’re ready to go. Power is supplied directly via the interface, so you do not need any other power sources. The wireless M-Bus stick has a range of up to 600 m in free field and operates on a frequency of 868 MHz. This allows you to access the meters at any time, even in larger properties or in difficult environments. With the wireless M-Bus stick from Engelmann you can easily and reliably read out your meters – whether in S1, T1 or C1 mode. Convince yourself of the easy handling and reliable performance!

Interfaces

Connection is established either via a virtual COM port or through direct USB access using the appropriate software API. The USB controller used (FTDI FT232R) supports USB 2.0 (Full-Speed). The corresponding drivers can be downloaded from the FTDI website. The software interface is identical to that of the AMB8626-M and is described in the corresponding manual.

Applications

The Wireless M-Bus USB Stick is designed for applications in the field of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) for wireless data transmission in accordance with EN 13757-4 (Wireless M-Bus). The wireless module is ideal for connecting PCs or mobile terminals for testing, inspection, or maintenance work on meters or MUCs with a wireless interface or to multi-hop wireless networks.
